Everyone’s needs are a little different.
Here are some of the things I may be able to help with. If you don’t see what you need listed, feel free to ask. If it’s non-medical, within what I can safely and appropriately provide, and something I can reasonably help with, I’m happy to talk about it.
Bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and other everyday personal-care assistance.
Personal care is always provided with respect for your privacy, comfort, preferences, and independence.
An extra set of hands for everyday mobility, including walking assistance and help moving between a bed, chair, wheelchair, or other everyday spaces.
Meal preparation, help with eating, light housekeeping, laundry, organizing, and other everyday tasks that may be difficult to manage alone.
Need groceries, household essentials, or help getting something done around town? I may be able to help with shopping and errands depending on what you need and my availability.
Longer trips, including trips to Reno, may require some advance planning.
Sometimes what you need most is simply another person around.
I’m happy to provide companionship, supervision, or an extra set of hands while you take care of everyday activities.
I may be able to help you get to appointments or other important places depending on the situation, distance, scheduling, and vehicle arrangements.
Transportation is arranged individually, so please reach out and tell me what you need.
Just ask!
Not everything fits neatly into a list. Tell me what you’re having trouble with or what would make things easier.
If it’s something I can safely and appropriately help with, I will. If it isn’t, I’ll be honest with you about that.

Some errands, appointments, or other requests outside the immediate Gerlach area may also be possible depending on travel, transport, and situation.
My availability is flexible and may vary from week to week.
If you need help soon, please reach out anyway. I’ll do my best to work with you based on what you need and how time-sensitive it is.
For regular or recurring help, contact me and we can figure out a schedule that works for both of us.
You can reach out for yourself, a family member, partner, friend, or someone else you help care for.
Not sure exactly what kind of help is needed? That’s okay too. Tell me what’s going on and what you’re having difficulty with, and we can talk about whether I’m a good fit.
Your comfort and independence matter to me.
I’m here to help you do the things you want or need to do, not to take over unnecessarily. I’ll work with you at the level of assistance you actually need and respect your preferences, routines, privacy, and boundaries.
For certain personal-care tasks, I may require another trusted adult to be present in the home. We can discuss this ahead of time so everyone is comfortable.
I provide non-medical personal assistance and stay within what I can safely and appropriately offer independently. If something requires medical evaluation, treatment, or a higher level of care, I’ll let you know rather than pretending it’s something I should handle.
I believe everyone deserves basic help, dignity, and the ability to stay as independent as possible, regardless of income.
Payment is flexible and depends on the type of help needed, time involved, travel, and what you’re able to afford.
If money is tight, please still reach out.
I may need to prioritize time-sensitive needs and paid work when scheduling things like errands, longer trips, or other requests that can wait. But I don’t want someone to go without basic help simply because they can’t afford much right now.
We can talk about your situation and figure out what makes sense.
